CNA Training Academy welcomes students who are ready to pursue a rewarding career in healthcare. To ensure student success and meet state training and clinical participation standards, all applicants must complete the following admission requirements.
General Requirements for All Programs
✅ Proof of Identity
Students must provide:
- Government-issued photo identification
- Social Security card
✅ Age Requirement
- For CNA, CNA/HHA Combo, and HHA Deeming applicants must be 16 years of age or older.
- Applicants for all other programs must be 18 years or older except for CNA, CNA/HHA Combo, and HHA Deeming
✅ Background Check
- A criminal background check is required prior to clinical placement
- Must meet state eligibility requirements for healthcare training and certification
✅ TB Screening
- A current negative TB test is required before attending clinicals.
✅ BLS/CPR Certification
- Must hold American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification prior to clinicals
If you do not have CPR training, we can assist you with enrollment in our CPR class.
Program-Specific Requirements

Enrollment Process
- Apply Online or In-Person
- Submit Required Documents
- Complete Tuition Payment or Payment Plan Setup
- Attend Orientation & Start Class
Students must complete all health and background requirements before beginning clinical rotations.
