Programs & Training

What programs do you offer?

We currently offer the following healthcare training programs:

  • Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
  • Certified Nurse Aide & Home Health Aide (CNA/HHA) Deeming Combo
  • Home Health Aide (HHA) Deeming
  • Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR Training

What does the CNA program include?

The CNA program includes:

  • 75 clock hours (classroom, skills lab, and clinical)
  • 16-hour clinical training in a nursing home
  • Instructor-led learning
  • State exam attempt included (1st attempt only)

How long is the CNA program?

The CNA program is 3 weeks (weekday or evening) or 2 weekends (weekend track).

  • Weekday: 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
  • Evening: 4:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
  • Weekend: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Sat–Sun, 2 weekends)

 

Do you offer a program that includes both CNA & HHA training?

Yes. The CNA/HHA Deeming Combo Program offers both certifications in one course.
Total hours: 91 (75 CNA + 16 HHA)

 

How long is the HHA Deeming program?

The HHA Deeming program is 16 hours, completed in 2 days.

 

How long is the CMA program?

The CMA program is 50 hours, including 16 clinical hours, offered in two-week formats:

  • Weekday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Mon–Fri)
  • Evening: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM (Mon–Fri)

 

Admissions & Requirements

Do I need a high school diploma or GED?

A high school diploma/GED is recommended and may be required for certain career pathways, but is not required for CNA, CNA/HHA Combo, or HHA programs.

 

What are the admission requirements?

Program Requirements
CNA ID, SS card, TB test, background check, AHA BLS/CPR before clinicals
CNA/HHA Combo Same as CNA (no prior certification required)
HHA Deeming Must already be a Certified Nurse Aide in Oklahoma
CMA Must be a CNA, plus TB, background check, AHA BLS/CPR

Do I need CPR certification?

Yes. American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification is required before clinicals.
If you don’t have it, we offer CPR training on-site.

 

Do I need a background check and TB test?

Yes. Both must be completed before clinicals.

 

Tuition & Financial Assistance

How much do the programs cost?

  • CNA Program: $825 (includes uniform, books, 1st state exam attempt)
  • CNA/HHA Combo: $825 (includes uniform, books, 1st state exam attempt)
  • HHA Deeming Program: $190
  • CMA Program: $625 (books + 1st exam attempt included)

 

What payment options are available?

We offer:

  • Payment plans
  • Workforce scholarship support (if eligible)
  • Tribal education funding (if eligible)
  • Private pay (credit/debit, Zelle®, cashier’s check, cash)

 

Are refunds available?

Refunds follow Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools regulation 565:10-11-3, with pro-rated refund rules based on program percentage completed and timing of withdrawal.

 

Scheduling & Attendance

Are attendance and punctuality required?

Yes. Healthcare programs require mandatory attendance for classroom, lab, and clinical hours. Missing or arriving late may result in fees or program removal.

 

What happens if I miss a clinical day?

Clinical attendance is mandatory. Missed clinicals may require rescheduling fees and could delay graduation.

 

Certification & Testing

Do I take my state test at your school?

Yes! CNA Training Academy is an approved testing site through Examcep Testing & Assessment.

You may test for:

  • CNA
  • CNA/HHA Combo
  • HHA Deeming
  • CMA
  • ACMA (Insulin)
  • OHCAPA

 

How do I register for the state exam?

  1. Visit www.examcep.com
  2. Create a candidate account
  3. Select exam type, test site, and date

 

Is the state exam fee included?

Yes — first attempt only is included for CNA, CNA/HHA Combo, and CMA programs.
